Sometimes known as Kastrup, Scandinavia's main airport is located on the island of Amager, just eight kilometres southeast of the Copenhagen city centre.

Copenhagen CPH has frequently been chosen both Europe's and the world's best airport.

Transportation and Parking

By Rail

Trains run between the airport and central Copenhagen every 10 minutes, with an average journey time of approximately 15 minutes. Frequent trains also leave for Malmö in Sweden with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes from the airport. The train station is directly under Terminal 3.

By Metro

The Metro runs from 5-24.00 during the week and continuously from Thurs-Sunday, with departures every 4-15 minutes.

By Bus

Airport Shuttle Bus (no. 38) connects the airport to central Copenhagen and with departures every 5 or 10 minutes from 6.00 to 24.00.

By Car

Kastrup sits about 10 km southeast of the city centre.

By Taxi

Taxis are available outside all arrival areas. The journey from the airport to central Copenhagen can usually be paid by credit card.
