Basel is the only bi-national airport in the world, with both France and Switzerland sharing administrative responsibilities. This cooperative effort results in the airport being known as EuroAirport-Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg.

Transportation and Parking

By Train

For rail transportation to France, Switzerland, or Germany, travel to Basle central train station via bus 50.

Trains from Basel Station

For train travel to France only, take bus 707 to Mulhouse central station.

Because of its multi-national status, there are several options for bus travel to and from the airport.

Parking location will vary depending on arrival from either France or Switzerland. Rates vary as well, with all parking areas requiring credit card payment.
