Landscapes and Lagoons

It’s got a bit of everything this tour - so chances are you’ll be amazed at what you discover. All the fun of the city plus horse riding, a spot of history and culture and plenty of time to let your hair down with a good old-fashioned pamper to round it all off. What a perfect break!

Day 1: Welcome to Iceland
Upon arrival at Keflavík Airport you will be taking a 45 minute busride to the capital, Reykjavík. Settle in at your hotel.

Day 2: Culture vultures and horse riding 
Forget the usual sights, your friendly guide will be taking you off the beaten track to explore some of the city’s lesser known highlights. Just be ready at 9.30am for your pick up. After that, you can explore on your own until after lunch.

At 1.30pm you’ll be picked up at the hotel again and taken to the nearby valley of Mosfellsdalur for a spot of horse riding. Don’t panic if you’ve never ridden before; we’ll take good care of you, matching your horse to your ability. You’ll also get to see some of the beautiful countryside where the famous Viking Egill Skallagrimsson and Iceland´s Nobel prize winner Halldór Laxness lived.

At 5pm, you’ll be returned to your hotel giving you plenty of time to relax and get ready for your big night on the town which begins at 8pm with a gourmet dinner at one of Reykjavík’s best restaurants. Bon appetit!

Day 3: Around the Golden Circle then out on the town 
Hope you haven’t got a headache because today’s the day you will be treated to one of the most popular guided tours in the whole of Iceland. And that’s a promise.

Your day starts at a bright and breezy 8:30am when you will be picked up by coach from your hotel. We’ll take you to some of the best-known natural phenomena in Iceland including Þingvellir National Park, the great Geysir area and Gullfoss Waterfall.

You’ll return to the city at 6pm, plenty of time to get ready for another foray into the capital’s inimitable nightlife. We’ll give you few ideas of where to go plus a pub-crawl card offering discount on drinks until midnight in select city bars.

Day 4: Bathing in the famous Blue Lagoon then home   
On your last day in Iceland, you’ll be collected at 9.30am and taken to the amazing Blue Lagoon natural spa, famous for its healing mineral-rich waters and natural surroundings. This is a body recharge like no other so make sure you enjoy a long soak and even a swim if you’re so inclined. Your morning of relaxation and pampering is the perfect way to end your weekend break. At 1pm it’s time to leave for airport and your afternoon flight home.
