ICELAND MOVE TO ATTRACT STUDENTS

As part of their effort to make Iceland more affordable, low fare airline Iceland Express have launched a student fare scheme in a bid to attract a younger audience.

Iceland is often featured in the top 10 of the world’s must go destinations, but despite Iceland’s growing popularity and Reykjavik’s notoriety as a party destination, the country is often shunned by students who perceive it to be to expensive.

However, for those who’ve dreamed of seeing Geysir, trekking across the glacier where Bond went head to head with his nemesis in Die Another Day, soaking in the milky waters of the Blue Lagoon and witnessing the famous Northern Lights, Iceland Express’s cost effective fares and other travel related discounts are finally making Iceland accessible to young travellers.
